In a regular quadrilateral, commonly known as a square, each exterior angle measures 90 degrees. This is because the sum of all the exterior angles of any polygon is always 360 degrees, and for a quadrilateral, dividing 360 by 4 (the number of sides) gives us 90 degrees for each angle! Now, imagine if you were to walk around its corners! Each time you reach a corner, you'll do a little turn of 90 degrees to keep moving forward. If you were to keep track of all your turns while walking the perimeter of the square, you'd find yourself making exactly four 90-degree turns—no more, no less. How fun is that?
